Top Name Brand Prescription Drugs Getting Ready to Expire!

Here is an article I found on the top selling Drugs in the US....

7 of the 20 top selling prescription drugs will lose their patents by the end of next year

KTLA News

LOS ANGELES (KTLA) --

By the end of next year, seven of the 20 top selling prescription drugs will lose their patents, making way for less expensive generic versions.

The generic drug blitz is expected to significantly lower the cost consumers are paying for medications such as cholesterol fighting Lipitor and the blood thinner Plavix.

Lipitor is the world's top selling medication with an estimated 4.3 million Americans currently taking it. Its patent will expire in November of this year.

Plavix is taken by 1.4 million people in the US. Its patent expires in May next year.

Antipsychotic drug Zyprexa loses its patent in October 2011, while psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis drug, Enbrel will lose its patent in October 2012.

Patients, taxpayers, business and health insurance companies are expected to save billions, since generic versions can cost up to 80% less than the brand name version, experts say.

According to the FDA, generic drugs are just as effective as brand named ones, but some argue that generic versions have uneven safety records.

Over the next 10 years, an estimated 120 more brand-name prescription drugs will lose their patents.

The US is one of the most expensive countries in the world for prescription medications.

The Community Assistance Card can be used in the time being to get these medications.  Our cards provides the largest discount on the generics so having this cards once these become generic will also have its advantages.  Be sure to print one out today for yourself and friend or family member!

Men Embarrased To Purchase Viagra

Impotence an issue?

We often make jokes of about the need for "the little blue pill"!  However it is really not a joking matter.  Now that I have started being involved with the Community Assistance Program I have really gotten into statistics

Did you know that one in every ten men in North America have to deal with this problem to some degree and at some point?  Of the men that do have erectile dysfunction nine in every ten suffer with the condition because they are to embarrassed to talk about it.  At least we now have the Internet to help with understanding and learning about this very common problem among men.

Viagra was released in 1998 and since then has helped over 25 million men out worldwide.  It has become the worlds most recognized and popular treatment for erectile dysfunction.  A man can simply take a pill 30 minutes to an hour before intercourse and it will last up to 4 hours.

The Problem
The biggest problem men have is that you can't get Viagra without a prescription and talking about it with a doctor difficult.  If that were not bad enough once you do get up the nerve to share your needs you find out it comes with a hefty price.  Many insurance companies will not cover the cost and you may find you have to pay full price for this much needed medication.

Often men will resort to purchasing what is said to be Viagra online.  Many pharmacies claim they can get the drug to you without a prescription and at a discounted price but, will only be offering you a fake.  Since Viagra was introduced to the market there have been additional drugs that have similar to the same results.  At this time there are a total of four brands that are approved by the FDA as an orally administered treatment.  These include:
  • Viagra
  • Cialis or Cialis one a day
  • Levitra
  • Staxyn
It is very important that you purchase only authentic and brand name medication as the "fake's" will be a waste of money or worse be dangerous to your health.  Each of the brand name medications have their own precautions and you must discuss these with your doctor.

The Solution
You no longer have to feel embarrassed by what looks to be a very common situation among men throughout the world.  Take care of yourself and your self esteem by realizing this medication was not made because of one person.  Make an appointment, go see your doctor and see if this is a solution for you.

Your next set back would be the cost and I have a gift for you.  Through the Community Assistance Program Viagra is recognized as a medication that we discount.  All you will need is the Discount Prescription Card and you can go to any participating pharmacy and get your name brand medications.  You can even go to the pharmacy look-up and compare pricing.  I checked the discounted pricing against an online company that sales the name brand Viagra and it saves almost 50% less.

You can print your free discount card here ----> Free Discount Card  and start saving today.  If you need additional cards or a hard copy of the card you can contact me here --->Contact me

For RX Drug Pricing:

Click on RX Drug Pricing and you will be taken to the HealthTrans site.

Enter Drug name (must be spelled correctly) and zip code you are inquiring about or select from the Commonly Used Drugs below.  Select the distance from the drop down. Click on GO! Located in lower right hand of box.

(You do not have to put in your address or the whole zip code.  The first 3 digits of your zip is fine.  The more info the better results you will have as far as location.)

On the next screen you will find the prices that will include the discounted price that you will receive using the discount card.  You can compare prices at the pharmacies by selecting the pharmacies located on the left hand side.  Each one you click will give you the price for that one.  When you select a pharmacy depending on your connection speed it can take a moment to get the results.  Whatever pharmacy is highlighted in dark green is the price shown.  Give it time!  Sometimes you can save money by simply going to a neighboring pharmacy.  (There have been times when pharmacy's within the same area have been 100's less.)

You have decided on the best price for the medication so all you need is to print out or take your FREE discount card to that pharmacy and get the medication.  You can print out a FREE card by clicking here --> Need Card! Help With Prescriptions for Pets!

Do you need help affording prescriptions for your pets?

We love our pets and finding out they are sick and need medication can cause a huge financial burden on some households.  As a member of the family it can be devastating to realize the medication is costly and without it your pet will suffer if not cause a more serious situation.

Did you know that often the medications that are given to your pet are just smaller or lower doses of medications made for human consumption?  It is to your benefit to ask your vet if the meds are a lower dose and have them write you an actual prescription.  Often as pet owners we feel that we have to get the medication at the vet paying the price they determine.  With the prescription you can shop around for a much lower price at a regular pharmacy.

We now have released a discount prescription card for your pet and this card can be used at any participating pharmacy.  All you have to do is go to our site, print out the pet discount card and start saving today.  On our site you can look up a pharmacy in your area that will use the card and also research the price savings.  The card is absolutely FREE, will not expire and can be used over and over.

The only thing I ask is if the card helps you that you would come back and share your story with us.  You can get your discount prescription pet card by clicking on this link -----> FREE PET CARD

If you own a business and would like me to provide you with hard copies of the Pet Discount Card for your customers I will be glad to.  Please contact me for details. You can also forward the link to your customers if you like.  Your customers and your pets will be glad you did!

Using Your Card To Help Others

 True Testimonials

"My newly employed son called me to ask about using the Free USA Drug Plan Card. He was in the pharmacy, and his one-time prescription was priced at $56.00, retail, no insurance. I text messaged to him the information from my card, and he gave this information to the pharmacist. His final price for the prescription was $16.00 ! That is a FORTY dollar savings on ONE prescription! My own personal prescription saving is on only one drug - generic Zocor / Simvastatin, only one I have. The retail price at my pharmacy with NO insurance is $25.62. With my Free USA Drug Plan card, I pay only $9.62 - that is a savings of over $115.00 a year on one drug!"

Ways To Use The Card Even If You Have Insurance!

Can I use this card with my insurance?

I often have someone commenting or asking me this very question. The card was designed and promoted more to help people who have to pay full price for their prescriptions.  However, in some cases the card can come in handy for someone who has the benefit of having insurance coverage.  With the card being FREE why not have one handy just in case.

Below are a few examples of how the card can help someone even if they have insurance.

  • No Prescription Drug Coverage Benefit: Many insurance companies offer plans on health care and limited to no assistance on prescription drug coverage.  You can go to the doctor and use your insurance card and use your RX discount drug card to save you from paying full price at the pharmacy.
  • Formularies: Insurance companies are increasingly limiting which drugs they will pay for such as: Birth Control, Diabetic Supplies, Smoking cessation and drugs that they decide are not cost effective for them.
  • Medicare Part D: Our RX drug card can be used to secure discounts on those drugs that are excluded from Part D Medicare.  It will also provide discounts when a person on Medicare reaches the "coverage gap".
  • High Deductible Plans: Our card program allows you to get discounts on RX drugs before you reach the level at which the insurance company starts paying benefits.
  • High Co-payment:  When you have a $25 co-pay and the drug is only $12 you often have to still pay the $25.  In this case, you use the C.A.P. drug card and pay $12.
The general rule is that you cannot use both the RX drug card and your insurance prescription card but in these cases the card will come in quite handy.  As I stated before with the card being free why not just print one out and start saving on your medications today?  I also always suggest sending this link to anyone else you may know that is having trouble affording the high cost of medications.
